Dear Self:
Hello Cora, this is you. I have realized that for someone with the silly idea that someday she won't remember who she is, I've been failing you in my duty to help you remember if you so desire. So that you will know this is in fact you, check your tummy. You have 2 moles. One is kinda large and it is on the right side of your tummy. The other is about 2.5 inches diagnolly from your belly button. The eye lashes on your right eye are a bit longer than the left, and you have a scar from being burned on a pizza pan on your left arm that's about as thick as your pinky.
Tee hee! If this is not useful for the purpose I am writing it, it will at least be amusing to look back on. Right now, I (you) are 18 years old. My hair is finally long enough to play with behind my back and I've discovered that I do love wild earrings. I'm going to write the basics. I really hope that you will have family to be there with you when you read this. It would be hard to be on your own and not know who you are.
There are 8 people including me in my family. Dad, Mom, (Me), John, Elise, James, Michelle, and Ruth. I am LDS (mormon) and I Love it. If you don't know who you are, flip open a Book of Mormon, and a Bible and start reading. I'm kind of a geek, I went to NUAMES with John and made friends like crazy. I worked at Camp Bartlett, and hope to go back this summer.
My best girl friend is probably Stephanie Paulsen. We tell eveyone we're twins, and it might as well be true. I've only ever had one boyfriend. He's still my bestfriend, but right now he is on a mission to South Africa and he doesn't need to be anything but a missionary right now.
Actually, I've really failed at writing in this blog recently because I wasn't ready to face the emotions I felt at him leaving. He got called to the South Africa, Cape Town Mission (SACTM) and I write him letters every week. They're kept in a folder by my desk.
I suppose that's a proper enough introduction. Dear self, I will try not to fail you. I will write frequently in this blog and you'll learn as you read. Don't worry, you're mostly a great person who just makes mistakes. Happy Reading!

Time keeps on slipping....
Wow... 3 weeks. Three weeks and Jacob will have a mission call. Things of this kind of importance have a way of creeping up on you.. I feel pretty old, and yet really young and naive as well.

Aggie Apology
I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!! I'm an Aggie!!!!!
I got accepted to Utah State University!!!! I got my letter last night, but I was too scared and tired to open it. So I refused to. This course of action drove my parents NUTS. So much so, that I was not allowed to do Anything this morning until I opened it and shared it's contents. *blush* I refuse to either confirm or deny rumors to the effect that I squealed girlishly in delight.
To celebrate, I opened a package of Mrs. Fields Cookie Recipe Chocolates that I snatched up in an after valentines day sale. I Love those 75% off sales. I'm pretty sure that it is human nature to reward yourself with things that aren't exactly beneficial to you. (see Bill Cosby) I reached this conclusion after realizing the chocolates just made me more sick. ( I stayed home from school today.)
Life in general have been treating me pretty kindly. I'm getting in better shape thanks to my swimming class. I have more hours, responsibility, and seniority at work. My bosses (Kristi and AJ) are my friends. I am doing well in all of my classes, and can actually get strikes on purpose in Bowling. Home life is getting better because my Madre and I don't fight nearly so much. I think the working almost every night might be a key factor..
Jacob, my favorite person in the world, turned in his mission papers! He just needs an interview with his Stake President and then his papers are off to SLC to be reviewed and signed by the First Presidency. I'm So Excited for him!!! In just 3 weeks (Spring Break) he will get his endowments out in the temple!!!! HOLY COW!!!!! He'll be leaving before I know it.. That really is a good thing. I can wait, and I will, but it's not going to be a fun two years.
Well, actually it will be a very eventful two years. I will move away from home, get my bachelor's degree, graduate, maybe go for my masters, maybe go for massage therapy, etc. Life from this point, is just going to Take Off. It's gonna be crazy, but I think I'm going to enjoy it.
